Care & Cleaning Guide
Travel gear lasts longer when it is easy to reset after every ride, flight, walk, and weekend away. Use this guide to keep Pack-Paws gear cleaner, calmer, and ready for the next trip.
Seat covers and liners
Shake off loose dirt before wiping. For everyday fur and crumbs, use a vacuum or lint tool first, then wipe with a damp cloth. Let the cover dry fully before folding or storing it. Avoid harsh bleach unless the product care label specifically allows it.
Pet carriers and backpacks
Remove loose bedding or liners when possible. Spot-clean fabric panels with mild soap and water, then air dry. Check zippers, seams, mesh, buckles, and handles before each trip. If any structural part looks damaged, do not use it for travel until it has been reviewed or replaced.
Hydration bottles and bowls
Empty leftover water after outings. Rinse bottle chambers, lids, bowls, and silicone parts thoroughly. Let all pieces dry before storage to reduce odors. For travel days, test the lid and release mechanism before packing it into a bag.
Strollers and trolleys
Wipe wheels after muddy or wet routes. Check folding joints, brake behavior, canopy movement, and basket attachments before longer outings. Store strollers in a dry place and avoid leaving them compressed under heavy items.
